Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous quilted calfskin leather. This adorable bag is simply a miniature version of the Boy flap bag but has quilted edges and a sides and a smooth body. It has Boy closure with ruthenium hardware. The versatile leather strap chain can be worn cross-body, on the shoulder or tucked in to use as a clutch.
The exterior has softened from use and shows creasing and has wear and rubbing to the edges and corners. The strap shows light scuffs and creasing. The hardware has minor hairline scratches but is bright and shiny. The interior is clean and remains in very good condition.
