Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous quilted grained leather. This adorable Chain with Clutch Bag is simply a miniature version of the Boy flap bag. It has the specially-made mini Boy closure with brushed goldtone hardware. This a newer style of the Boy WOC and features a longer flap closure as well as a removable chain strap. Current retail price is $1900.
The exterior leather is clean throughout but has softened. There are signs of rubbing to the bottom corners. Part of the leather on the strap has come unraveled. The hardware is bright and shiny with hairline surface scratches. The interior has stains and signs of use. Overall it remains in good condition.
