The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.
The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, however the leather has darkened and has more of a warmer hue. There is light rubbing and faint color transfer marks on the bottom. The handles are lightly creased. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches but is bright and shiny. The interior has very faint marks but remains clean and in very good condition.
