Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This bag is made of quilted leather. This particular bag is the Old Medium size of the collection and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Current retail price is $6600.
The exterior leather is clean with rubbing, creasing, and scuffing. The bottom corners are lightly soiled The strap is clean and smooth with some rubbing and spots. The hardware is smooth and shiny. The interior lining has light rubbing but overall remains clean. The underside of the flap has scuffing and scratches.
