Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag features a slightly different shape than the classic WOC. It features a short chain strap that can be altered to use as a wristlet. The interior opens to reveal zip pockets and two flat pockets. It has the specially-made mini Boy closure with ruthenium hardware and decorative chain details. Retail price is $2500.
The exterior leather remains clean and beautiful throughout with rubbing on the corners and edges as well as a popped stitch on the back. The hardware has minor hairline scratches but is bright and shiny. The interior lining remains clean with light scuffing. Overall it is in excellent condition.
