This Le Dix New Cartable Mini bag is a newer piece from the house of Balenciaga. "Le Dix", means "The 10" in French, which refers to the address of the original Balenciaga boutique in 10 Avenue George V, Paris. This stunning black grained leather bag has a refined and sophisticated feminine shape that would pair well with casual attire or work wear. Gold and silvertone hardware are combined at the base of the top handle and the adjustable, removable leather strap. The interior opens with a logo engraved lift lock to reveal a roomy compartment with just enough room for the essentials. Retail price is $1935.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful, but there is light rubbing to the bottom corners. The hardware has some hairline surface scratches, but is still bright. The leather shoulder strap and top handle remain clean. The interior lining is clean with light signs of gentle use.
