Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This gorgeous bag from the pre-Fall 2013 collection is made of gorgeous beige distressed and quilted Nubuck leather with a subtle metallic sheen. This is the largest size of the collection and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Retail price is $5000.
The exterior is clean and beautiful throughout with light wear and rubbing to the bottom corners and flap corners. The leather shoulder pad has soiling and has darkened slightly from gentle use. The interior is clean but has signs of wear. Overall the bag remains in very good condition.
