Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous quilted lambskin leather. This particular bag is the smaller size of the collection and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Please note this bag was purchased in 2015 for $4300. Current retail price is $4500.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful with a few faint scuff marks and has light wear at the bottom corners. The strap has light wear and creasing. The underside of the flap has scuffing. The main compartment shows light wear and a few light stains, but otherwise is in good condition.
