Created by and named after American film director, actress, producer, Academy Award-winning screenwriter Sofia Coppola, the SC Bag has been the realization of her ideal Louis Vuitton handbag. The SC Bag was inspired by the iconic shapes of the Speedy and Keepall which combines the utility of a travel duffle with the smaller scale of an everyday bag. Timeless and functional, the SC Bag encapsulates Sofia's own glamorous style. This larger size SC Bag is crafted of "Jasper" (dark red) calf leather with beautiful detailing, goldtone pieces, top handles and an adjustable long shoulder strap to wear this bag over your shoulder. Please note, this item is now referred to as the Sofia Coppola MM. Current retail price is $5000.
The exterior leather is clean throughout with natural creasing and some slouching to the sides. The bottom corners have rubbing and wear. The goldtone hardware is crisp and bright with some light hairline scratches. The bottom metal feet have a few minor hairline scratches. The shoulder strap has light creasing and the glazed edges have cracking and wear throughout. The handles are clean but have some darkening and scuffing to the leather. The interior has some rubbing and some spots throughout, but overall remains in good condition.
