Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." A slight change of pace from the usual Chanel designs, this bag is made of gorgeous metallic pink glossy patent leather. This adorable Wallet-on-a-Chain is simply a miniature version of the Boy flap bag. It has the specially-made mini Boy closure with all shiny silvertone hardware. The versatile leather strap chain can be worn cross-body, on the shoulder, doubled up to wear with a shorter drop or tucked in to use as a clutch. The interior also comes equipped with plenty of card storage, a zip compartment for change and room for some girly essentials. Current retail price is $2500.
The exterior patent leather remains clean and beautiful throughout with light soiling to the bottom corners and flap corners. The underside of the flap has light soiling and scuffing. The main interior compartment shows light wear and soiling but overall the bag is in good condition.
