Karl Lagerfeld designed the Boy Collection as an interpretation of the boyish charm that Coco Chanel was known for. Karl was stated as saying that the very spirit of Chanel was inspired by Boy Capel, the love of her life; which is why this new collection is called the "Boy Chanel." This gorgeous bag is made of smooth calfskin leather and is the largest size of the collection and features a long chain-link strap with a leather pad that can be used as a long strap or looped around as a shoulder bag. Original retail price was $5000.
The exterior leather shows scuffing, scratches, light creasing at the base/sides, as well as wear and rubbing at the bottom corners. The hardware has hairline scratches. The leather on the strap has light creasing and wear. The underside of the flap shows scuffing throughout. The main interior is clean and in good condition with some wear.
