The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The original color Baby Pink has discolored throughout and is not more of a peachy pink with gradient towards to the bottom of the bag. There are some faint transfer marks to the Vernis leather as well. The leather handles and trim are a nice light honey patina with light soiling and signs of use. The hardware is bright with hairline surface scratches. The interior leather is clean with creasing at the opening. Overall the bag is in good condition.
