The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with creasing throughout and some small transfer marks. The bottom corners have rubbing and wear. The leather has developed a medium honey patina with water spots and soiling throughout. The handles have wear and have darkened on the undersides. The shoulder strap is clean but has marks from the buckle and water spots. The interior shows staining, soiling, spots, wear and ink stains throughout.
