The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but has light wear and light scuffing to the bottom corners. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots and light soiling. The strap and handles have wear and creasing. The interior shows signs of wear and some faint spots, but otherwise is in good condition.
