The classic rounded shape with two straps is supposed to take the form and spirit of the butterfly (Papillon). It was originally designed by Henri Vuitton in 1966 and has become one of most endearing bags of Louis Vuitton's collection. Retail price is $700.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful but shows wear along the edges and to the leather piping on the sides. The handles show visible creasing and some wear to the glazed edges. The goldtone zipper is flaking and the hardware has light surface scratches. The interior lining is clean and overall in very good condition.
