The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior is clean and beautiful throughout with transfer marks from the handles resting on the bag. The bottom corners show some light rubbing. The hardware remains bright and shiny with hairline surface scratches and the bottom metal feet have fading at the centers. The handles are clean but show discoloration to the Vernis leather. The shoulder strap is clean with creasing and some light spots. The interior lining light soiling, spots and light signs of use.
