For Fall/Winter 2011/2012, Marc Jacobs created a controversial line that played with Fashion and Fetish. Because of the strict and rigid nature, the ever-popular and iconic Lockit was chosen to be the focus of this line. Playing with ideas of S&M and all things exotic, bags were created out of unusual materials and textures with bold hardware detailing. This Lockit features rubberized matte calfskin leather with the clochette fixed on the bag in such a way as to play with the proportions. Retail price is $4050.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful, but there are some scuff marks throughout. The bottom corner edges have light wear and the metal feet have started to fade. The handles have minor wear and scuffing. The hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior leather lining has some scuff marks, but otherwise is clean and still in great condition.
