The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with some very faint smudges and scuff marks only visible on a close inspection. The metal feet have wear. The handles have very light scuff marks. The hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior lining has a few spots and there is a light baby powder scent, but otherwise it remains clean and in great condition.
