The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful throughout with some transfer marks and signs of use at the bottom corners. The bag has a faint transfer marks on both sides. The leather handles and trim have developed a medium patina with creasing and light water stains. The undersides of the handles have darkened slightly. The hardware is bright and shiny with hairline surface scratches. The interior is clean with pen marks and other light stains. Overall it remains in good condition. Please note, the bag has a perfume scent.
