The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior is clean and beautiful, however overall the Vernis has softened and is creasing. The Vernis has very slightly discolored. Throughout the bag there are transfer marks. The leather has developed a honey patina with faint water spots present. The handles have creasing and light signs of wear throughout (please refer to photos). The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in good condition.
