The Bolide bag dates back in 1923 when Emile-Maurice Hermes created this handbag for his wife, which was the first ever handbag to use a zipper. This particular bag is made from luxurious Clemence leather which is known for having a slight matte texture and a subtle grain, along with gold plated hardware. This Bolide has two rigid top handles and a removable leather strap.
The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout with no signs of wear. The hardware is bright and clean with minor, hairline surface scratches. The metal feet have oxidized and darkened. The handles and shoulder strap are clean with no wear. The interior leather is clean but has faint rubbing and a few small black specs throughout. Overall the bag remains in great condition.
