This 40 cm Birkin is constructed of Naturelle (similar to Hermes gold) Ardennes leather which is now discontinued. Ardennes leather is a processed pressed leather which is noted for being sturdy and holding its shape surprisingly well. This Birkin also features the highly sought after Palladium plated hardware. The interior is lined in luxurious Ardennes leather in matching Naturelle color and has the heat stamped "Hermes Paris Made in France."

The exterior leather is clean and beautiful throughout but has signs of rubbing to the bottom corner edges. The Ardennes leather shows some darkening and wear marks to the front of the bag, particularly around the tunrlock. The handles have darkened and softened from gentle use. The hardware remains bright and clean with light, hairline surface scratches. The interior leather is clean with a small pen mark at one side and some indentations and scuffing at the base. Please note, this particular Birkin does not come with a padlock. The keys and clochette are included.
