This beautiful piece is straight from the historic archives of Van Cleef & Arpels! The Cadenas watch was created to provide an elegant watch for woman to wear in public in 1935. The Cadenas watch was considered to be a symbol of union and alliance between two families - beauty and functional. This particular Cadenas watch features a grey crocodile embossed leather band with an 18k white gold case that has a small row of pave set diamonds. The dial features a silver guilloche design with one single diamond at the 12 hour marker and small sword shaped hands, all presented under scratch resistant sapphire glass. If you're looking for something that is elegant and sophisticated, this is the perfect piece for you!
This piece is clean and beautiful throughout, but shows hairline scratches to the buckle. The band has some wear on the underside but is otherwise in great condition.
