The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are several faint scuff marks present overall, only visible upon a close inspection. The base of the bag has hairline scratches and the bottom corner edges have scuff marks. The handles have faint rubbing to the undersides. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but otherwise is still bright. The interior has some spots and a slight perfume scent is present, but otherwise is clean and still in great condition. Please note that this is a newer style and there is a new cloth tag attached with the 'Made in USA' stamping.
