The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but throughout there are faint spots and several faint scuff marks. The bottom corner edges have minor wear. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots throughout. The handles have wear and creasing throughout (please refer to photos). The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior is clean and in good condition, but there is a faint perfume odor present overall.
