The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are some faint scuff marks present, especially to the base of the bag. The bottom corner edges have minor wear. The leather has developed a honey patina with water spots. The leather trim on the bag has overall signs of wear. The handles have wear and the undersides have slight darkening. The shoulder strap has light wear throughout. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior lining has some spots and overall there is a faint must scent, but otherwise the interior is clean and still in good condition.
