The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and in good condition but does have minor signs of wear on the bottom base. The bottom metal feet have surface scratches. The leather has developed a lovely honey patina with surface scratches. The leather has faded at the top corners. The top handles show soiling at the top, where the red glazed edges have discolored to a green color. The shoulder strap has minor signs of wear and soiling from the hardware resting against it. The hardware has surface scratches throughout. The interior has very slight smudges and signs of wear but is still clean and in good condition.
