The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there is slight wear in the bottom corner edges. The leather has developed a honey patina with minor water spots throughout. The inlaid handles and leather trim have wear and some faint pen marks. The shoulder strap has wear and a very slight waxy texture is developing. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior has some spots and a very faint musk odor, but otherwise is clean and in good condition.
