The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior leather is clean and beautiful but shows some light scratches to the Vernis leather. The goldtone snap has faded and has surface scratches. The interior leather has heavy scuffing and indentations from use over time. Overall the wallet has been well used but still has a lot of life left in it!
