The gorgeous Amarante Vernis patent leather is a very dark burgundy that looks black unless under bright lights. The exterior features two large slot pockets for quick access to small items while the roomy interior is large enough to hold everyday day essentials, plus extras such as an umbrella, water bottle, or book. The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with throughout. The leather has developed a very light and even patina. The base of the handles has creasing due to the buckles. The goldtone hardware has hairline surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior is clean and in great condition.
