The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but throughout there are some faint indentations, only visible upon a close inspection. The base has light signs of wear, particularly in the bottom corner edges. The handles have overall creasing and minor wear. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior has some spots, but otherwise is clean and in good condition.
