The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with light wear at the bottom corners. Upon close inspection there is small color transfer to the rear as well as a tiny spot to the front under the flap. The leather has developed a light honey patina with water spots. There is light wear to the piping along the edges. The shoulder strap shows oil spots, creasing, and wear, and light soiling. The interior is clean and in great condition with light wear and some faint pink stains.
