The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but does show some tiny black specks throughout the front, as well as scuffing and wear to the corners. The handles have light signs of wear and the glazing is cracking on one handle. The goldtone hardware has minor surface scratches, but remains bright and crisp. The interior has some minor soiling and a few small stains, but otherwise is still in good condition.
