The Louis Vuitton Mahina Collection was inspired by the phases and crescents of the moon. In Polynesian culture, Mahina is a lunar deity. This fabulous collection uses the Mahina leather that has been drummed softly to pull up the grain and the skins are then coated to preserve their beauty. The Mahina collection also has the meticulously perforated Monogram pattern which makes it unique.

The exterior Mahina is clean and beautiful with only very slight rubbing in the bottom corner edges, visible only upon a careful inspection. The metal feet have started to fade. The leather buckle straps on both sides of the bag have started to crease, while on the left side of the bag the leather trim has slight wear (please refer to photos). The handles have several light scuff marks and the base of the rear handle has some loose threads (please refer to photos). The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior lining has some faint spots, but is otherwise clean and in good condition.
