The Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolore collection is relatively new and was first introduced in spring 2003. The Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami decided to revamp the traditional monogram toile and give it a splash of colour. He created a new vibrant canvas pallet with 33 silkscreened colours. Together with Marc Jacobs, the Multicolore line became a huge success!

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but along the bottom of the bag the canvas has fading. Furthermore, the canvas also has creasing throughout. The leather has developed a nice honey patina with water spots and wear overall. The leather base has creasing and some soiling. The leather trim along the opening of the bag has started to darken and is creasing. The leather drawstring has fraying. The shoulder strap has also started to darken, has creasing throughout, and the buckles have left markings on the leather. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior lining has spots as well as a faint musk odor, but otherwise is clean and in good condition.
