The Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolore collection is relatively new and was first introduced in spring 2003. The Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami decided to revamp the traditional monogram toile and give it a splash of color. He created a new vibrant canvas pallet with 33 silk-screened colors. Together with Marc Jacobs, the Multicolore line became a huge success!

The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but on a close inspection the canvas along the pleated details has light fading. The leather has developed a caramel patina, but overall there are very faint water spots and scuff marks. The leather in the bottom corner edges has creasing and wear. The center flap tab has heavy creasing. The leather on the handles has darkened and shows creasing. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and fading. The interior has a faint musty scent, but otherwise is clean and still in good condition.
