The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with light surface scratches and scuffs to the back of the wallet. The goldtone hardware has visible scratches and some indentations but remains bright and shiny nonetheless. There are light creases under the flap and gentle stretching to the card slots.
