The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are transfer marks throughout, particularly on the base of the bag. The bottom corner edges have wear. The top corner edges have cracking in the glazing. The handles have creasing throughout and transfer marks, along with some peeling to the glazing (please refer to photos). The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior has some spots and there is a faint musk odor present, but otherwise it is clean and still in good condition.
