The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there a few tiny dark specks throughout and pink color transfer at the rear. The goldtone hardware is bright with only hairline surface scratches. The interior is clean and in great condition with minor creasing, scuffing, light soiling, and light color transfer. Also, the zip pocket has minor coin rings.
