The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but there are some faint scuff marks as well as minor creasing present. The bottom corner edges have light wear. The base of the bag has signs of rubbing. The handles have hairline scuff marks and the bases have slight fraying at the glazing. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches and fading. The interior lining has some spots, but otherwise is clean and still in good condition.
