The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colours throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful. The edges of the flap top show faint signs of wear. The leather has developed a nice honey patina, while there is minor wear to the glazing overall. The leather strap has creasing overall. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in good condition, however the lining is starting to flake and crack (please refer to photos).
