The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

This exterior leather is clean and beautiful, but shows faint wear and minor hairline scratches at the base. Also, upon close inspection there is a tiny white speck at the rear of the bag. The strap shows light creasing and the handles show light wear with some light scuffing. The hardware has light hairline scratches but is crisp and very bright. The interior shows light soiling, some staining, some faint spots, light wear, and a light perfume scent, otherwise it is still in good condition.
