The canvas is clean and beautiful, but in the corner edges there is heavy wear. The smooth leather trim has scuff marks overall, particularly heavy in the bottom corner edges. The leather trim along the zipper has creasing. The base of the handles also show creasing. The tops of the handles have signs of rubbing from being held. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior is clean and in good condition, but the interior of the flat pocket has a small ink stain.
