The original Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas was originally created in 1888 and was relaunched in 1996 with an entire collection of handbags and small leather goods. Its unique geometric pattern and understated elegance makes this a LV classic and timeless collection.
The original Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas was originally created in 1888 and was relaunched in 1996 with an entire collection of handbags and small leather goods. Its unique geometric pattern and understated elegance makes this a LV classic and timeless collection.
The exterior canvas is clean and beautiful, but throughout has softened. The leather piping has wear throughout. The smooth leather trim overall has creasing. The leather at the bases of the handles has become slightly stretched. The handles have wear and creasing at the tops, while on the front handle the glazing on the left base is peeling. On a close inspection, the leather at the bases of the shoulder strap has several loose stitches as well as scuff marks overall (please see photo #6 of photo set). The shoulder strap has creasing throughout. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches. The interior is clean and in good condition. Please note that this is a newer style and there is a new cloth tag attached with the 'Made in USA' stamping.
