The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colours throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but throughout the bag are transfer marks (please refer to photos). The leather strap has developed a caramel patina with creasing overall. The goldtone hardware is crisp with only minor surface scratches. The interior is clean and in excellent condition, but does have a faint perfume scent.
