The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colours throughout the years.

The exterior is clean and beautiful with some minor creasing. The leather trim and handles have turned a deep honey patina with signs of wear to the leather corner edges. The handles have noticeably darkened and are creasing. There are light water spots and the goldtone hardware has light surface scratches. The interior lining is clean with but has light wear along the edge of the flat pocket and a pen mark at the base.
