The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis line was first introduced in 1998. In French "vernis" means varnish which explains the shiny and sparkly effect of the bags. It is a monogram embossed coated leather which is like patent leather and has been released in many different colors throughout the years.

The exterior Vernis is clean and in excellent condition throughout. The bottom base has a few hairline scratches and a very small indentation at the center that is only noticeable upon very close inspection. The key bell on the clochette has light creasing. The goldtone metal feet have surface scratches. The top handles have very light creasing on the undersides with light rubbing. The hardware is crisp and bright with a few minor hairline scratches. The interior is clean and in excellent condition throughout with faint signs of wear.
