The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful, but in the corner edges of the flap top there are hairline cracks in the glazing. The leather strap has yet to develop a patina and is very light, but has minor creasing throughout. The goldtone hardware has surface scratches, but is still bright. The interior is clean and in great condition.
