Yayoi Kusama is known in the art world for her obsession with dots. Artistic Director Marc Jacobs approached Kusama to design a limited edition collection for Louis Vuitton that interprets the emblematic and unforgettable works for Kusama. From the first installment of the Yayoi Kusama collaboration, the Infinity Dots Vernis Papillon features the classic Monogram Vernis in a bright yellow with an overlay of large polka dots in one of Louis Vuitton's most recognizable styles. The exterior Vernis is clean and beautiful with no visible signs of wear. The leather trim and handles have turned a nice medium honey patina with some minor wear to the piping along the edges and to the undersides of the handles. There is a small stain on the leather tab. The hardware remains bright and clean. The interior lining is clean and overall in great condition.
