The classic Monogram Canvas has been Louis Vuitton's trademark design since it was first introduced in 1896. The graphic symbols, including the quatrefoils and flowers, as well as the LV Monogram were used to prevent counterfeiting in the early days when it was first patented. Made of coated canvas, the Monogram's traditional look is also endured by its durability.

The exterior coated canvas is clean and beautiful. The leather trim and handles are still a light honey patina with some light wear to the bottom corner edges and base. The handles remain smooth and clean with light soiling to the undersides. The hardware is bright and clean. The interior lining is in excellent and like new condition. Please note this particular Alma is missing the leather clochette.
